Here at IWOOT we are constantly searching for new home inspiration. Whether we are scrolling through Instagram, pinning boards on Pinterest or finding the best interior bloggers we are always trying to bring you exciting new tricks, trends and DIY’s to try out.
This week we are looking at our favourite Tumblr bloggers. From sleek minimalism to embellished opulence we have you covered, whatever your taste.
Number one on our list is Lowe Home.
Lowe combines sleek extravagance with a livable feel. There is a sincerely luxe side to the site’s aesthetic, yet all rooms look lived in. Use copper paint, available at most hardware stores, to update old pipes, taps and unloved metal finishes. Go on the hunt for old furniture at fairs and vintage stores, these can easily be recovered by a luxurious velvet fabric and at minimal cost. In short, although luxurious and at times opulent, Lowe’s vibe is possible to recreate in your own home. A definite favourite on our list.
Dreamy Home brings more of a Folk feel to the table
Sheepskin throws, cowhide rugs and oak furniture dominate Dreamy Home’s feed. The elegance of the everyday home is on show here, the begs are unmade, tables uncleared and the photos truly lived in. This site gives great inspiration to all those who want to update their family home without a massive overhaul.
I am Collecting Home Inspiration curates home inspo with a sleeker, more luxurious feel.
Spaces are larger, more open with lots of natural light. If you are looking to revamp your home from the feet up, this place has the best inspiration.
