Air Swimmer - Remote Control Shark
5This is amazing! It really looks like it is swimming, and it is such a simple design - not sure why it hasn't been done before - I bought the shark and the Clownfish as his and hers wedding presents! Easy enough to fill up with helium up at the local card shop - albeit a little odd walking back with a giant inflatable fish. Took it into work and swam it round an open door while someone was at work, and they screamed!

5This is spectacular! I've just been to the Cantoon Fair in China, and I've seen a lot of companies that produce this item, and I Want One of Those has selected the best quality one, and of course it's very cool!

Diving without the gear
5What an amazing toy, having come back to the UK after spending a year in Australia and diving every day in crystal clear water. I can now do it in my own living room. This was easy to construct, it took about 15 mins to inflate and start flying, the perfect gift for anyone who wants to swim with Sharks without getting wet or the fear of being eaten. Only question now is do I buy the clown fish, to vary my dives?

Jaws & other fish stories
4I love this Air Swimmer Shark. One of the more stupid toys I own but really fun. I was surprised how menacing it is when inflated - It reminds me of the Jaws movie. However be prepared when constructing, I found this a little tricky, and when inflated it really is quite big, so if you have to go to a florist to get the helium think about space in the car. All said I think it's a great buy.

4I was looking forward to this, so I got some helium which cost a small fortune of £12, and lasted only 4 days. It wasn't until then, I realised the size of it. It's massive! I couldn't get both arms around it and I'm 39. Walking through town with a shark under your arm does attract attention, and it's a little tricky to put together, although swearing at it will help. I just managed to get it to "fly" though the doorway, and I hit a flaw... If you have a house with big rooms for it's turning circle, this would be great, otherwise I'd give it a miss. Giant sharks and small rooms dont mix - plus it's cruel.

4This is a brilliant product, and well supported by instructional videos on Youtube. I would say the cost of Helium surprised me, though, at 2/3rds the cost of the Shark.

House Predator
5I saw the YouTube videos before the item launched, and although I thought it looked great not for one moment did I think it would work as the advert promised. Then it arrived! A fairly quick jaunt to get it inflated at a local sweet shop (and it was a fair bit bigger than I anticipated!) I got it back to the office and constructed it with relative ease - and after balancing it was time to unleash the beast! Everyone who has played with it since (and five days later the helium is still good once you whip a bit of the balancing clay out to allow for deflation, and I'm on the same batteries that were supplied) has been amazed at how realistically it "swims" through the water. Really easy to control, and basically the best gimmick I have ever had to conceal from my wife (although how I managed that with a shark this size I'll never know). She's seen it now, and it's also the first toy I've bought myself that hasn't received her trademark "steely glare". I love it - my colleagues love it - my kids love it. I would massively recommend this item as something that is actually more fun than the video makes it out to be.

3I bought this as a Christmas gift, so I've not used it yet, but I'm sure it will be okay. My only gripe is that it's quite expensive and what it doesn't make clear, is that you also need a canister of helium, which is not supplied. It cost me a lot more with the price of the gas added on.
