Living in a house half way up a significant Scottish Corbett with a permanently mud ridden steeply sloping garden and lots of ice in winter? Sounds like me. Have several hunky dogs who love to dash up and down said garden/driveway, dragging you off your feet and onto your bahooki? Not any more. These are the most discrete, most secure, easiest to put on ice-grippers I have ever tried. They work on all shoes and all terrain (mud, ice, sand, wet leaves, slippery river banks) and it is so cool to watch your friends gingerly picking their way along and you just run past , nonchalant, secure in the knowledge that you aren't going to fall flat on your face. I have bought these - last year- for all my elderly relatives and recommended them to just about all age groups. No praise is too much.
