Come face to face with one of the most feared predators on the planet the Siberian Amur Tiger at Dartmoor Zoo. An incredible encounter that you'll never forget.
What Happens On The Day?
Your experience starts in the Jaguar Restaurant where you will enjoy complimentary refreshments before being met by one of the zoological park team. They will explain the exciting activities you will be undertaking during your visit and give you health and safety information.
You will then be given a VIP tour of the zoological park, learning about each of the individual animals and their behaviours before enjoying a lunch in the Jaguar Restaurant.
After lunch, you'll be taken up to one of our tiger enclosures to go behind the scenes and come face to face with one of our Siberian Amur tigers. You'll be able to ask our zoo staff about the big cats and photographs can be taken. You'll be given a certificate and t-shirt to remember your amazing experience.
What You Need To Know?
Minimum age: 8 (under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult, at no extra cost, please note lunch will not be included for the accompanying adult)
Please allow 2 hours for the whole experience (time spent with the tigers will be approximately 30 minutes)
The experience is coordinated around the tigers' feeding routine so it's available every other day, usually between 12 and 2pm. Times may vary so be sure to confirm well before your visit
The experience is not recommended for anyone who is pregnant, has a high blood pressure, or is of a nervous disposition
We recommend you book at least 2 months in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher
