4Lots of people on this page don't seem to be aware that you have to put the Steel Ice Cubes in the freezer in order for them to cool your drink...

Alternative to ice
4I don't have a freezer at home so thought I would give these Steel Ice Cubes a try. They're not quite as chilling as real ice but they do just the job for an evening Gin and Tonic!

Steel Ice Cubes - 6 Pack
3I recently ordered these ice cubes from IWOOT, but with them in my drink its pretty much luke warm. The positive things about the product: Delivery was brilliant, arrived within 2 days or ordering. They look GREAT, quite stylish infact especially when placed in a nice glass. The Not So Possitive: The instructions say you need around 2 cubes in your drink, when I first tried them I went along with that and this didnt really cool my drink at all. Baring in mind I have a fairly large glass the second time I used them I went with 3 Cubes. With no indication of cooling the drink I am currently sitting here with all 6 in a glass of water, and its keeping it fairly cold. Final Verdict: Not a bad product but in the summer months (I know we don't get many in the UK) where you want an Ice Cold drink after work or a few hours in the garden I would suggest sticking with the good old, but effective Ice Cubes.

Cool as ice!
5These really are as cool as they look. I almost didn't want to just sling them in the freezer! Haven't had them in a drink yet cos its bloomin freezing but they're looking beautiful everytime I get a pizza out!

Inventon of the century
5Those of us that like a good drink, and like to taste the drink till the glass is empty will enjoy these ice cubes. Quick to freeze and a cold drink till the last sip. top notch
