4I bought this Robostir because I was bored of my mum moaning about my Dad not helping her with Sunday lunch and doing the simple task of helping her stir the gravy, bread sauce, wine sauce etc while she was doing eveything else that involved keeping the lunch from burning and on time. This item was bought as an early Mother's Day present because the pressure of cooking Sunday lunch could not wait until a special day of appreciation to come around for it to be opened, so, my mum has already been using it gleefuly before 'her day'. The item came packaged well enough and undamaged so all's well there and the instuctions for using the Robostir were simple and hassle free to apply. It worked well on all the sauces that I mentioned above, obviously it moves slightly differently with each one but that it's also mainly dependent on the quantity of what you're putting the stirrer in. Obviously remember to rinse the ends of the stirrer if you're using it more than once in the same cooking session, otherwise, as my dad found out, you can combine some sauces and their flvours unsuccesfully (especially if they're tastes that don't mix well and they submerge into each other effortlessly). On the whole I would say this has been a fun purchase for my mother. She hasn't become a Michelin Star chef by using this but it certainly keeps her and my dad on speaking terms over luncheon.
