special fx sabre
5I brought this Special FX Sabre as a Christmas present for my nine year old son. I couldn't resist testing it out and was really impressed. The sound effects are great and it changes colour each time you slice the air. Good value for money.

Special FX Sabre
5Got three Special FX Sabres for my nephews, which left one for me as a present from Rosie, our dog. I know I shouldn't have opened it yet, but how else could I review it? Anyway, I'll wrap it back up and she'll never know.

Fun for kids and adults
5I bought this Special FX Sabre for my 9 year old son but my husband and his mates took it and bought another one. It's great for young and old (who act like kids).

5The Special FX Sabre is an excellent light sabre. I annoyed the girlfriend with it, remembering my youth and the Star Wars films. It has good sound effects and good lighting, it also changes colour everytime you hit something. Every kid would love one of these, never mind just me.

Special FX Sabre
5I bought the Special FX Sabre for my friend, and everyone loved it! Obviously it's mainly for those that have seen a Star Wars film. It works perfectly fine, you feel like quite good when you use it, even though you can get funny looks from strangers. All in all a great present, I wish I bought one for myself. It really is something you want but don't need.

Lasted five minutes!
1Although this Special FX Sabre looked and worked great when first taken out of the packaging, it unfortunately didn't last much more than 5 minutes once my 4 and 5 year old boys started playing with it. The connections inside are quite flimsy so they didn't survive much of a battle. I now have one that doesn't work at all, and the other has light but no sound. Maybe they're just meant for gentler waving around, but where is the fun in that? My boys certainly would not have been able to show such restraint! I would not recommend for kids.

5The Special FX Sabre is a great product for the price, and does what is says on the tin. My son loves it and has hardly put it down!
