A present for my boyfriend
5I bought this as a present for my boyfriend who loves fishing. He was really pleased and said it was good quality. He changed the line on it and now threatened to use it to teach me how to fish.

4I bought this Pocket Sized Extendable Fishing Rod and I'm pleased for the price, and speedy delivery. The first time I used it, I caught a little 1.5lb bream. Point is, it works well as a novelty item. This would make a great present for any keen fisherman looking to throw out a little bit more!

5With Valentine's day fast approaching I hadn't a clue what to get my boyfriend, a mans man so a cuddly toy would not go down well. On a budget as well it was increasingly difficult then I browsed this site for ideas, as well as being a footie widow I am often left in favour of the high seas, so this Pocket Sized Extendable Fishing Rod was a perfect gift for his first love from his second. He was well chuffed and plans to use it immediately and has been bragging to his friends about it. It's fabulous, thank you!

I'm not a keen fisherman that's why I've given this Pocket Sized Extendable Fishing Rod four stars. I can, however, verify that it does all of the things it says in the product description. Having said that, I wouldn't like to say how well it'd stand up to taking down a 400lb marlin.
However, don't let not being a fishing fan put you off. Other great uses for this include but are not limited to:
a) fancy dress
b) fishing for people on a night out/at a festival
c) trying to retrieve things when you don't want to get up
d) attaching a £20 note and trying to get people to chase it
e) having a legitimate reason to say, "am I happy to see you or have I got a fishing rod in my pocket?"
f) creating a photo making it look like your cat is a person and has a full-size fishing rod
