The Snap Remote is a photo revolution that enables you to take group shots with yourself in the frame. Download the free app from the App Store and it will automatically sync to the Snap Remote. When you are prepared to take an image, simply press the button on the remote control to activate the shutter, and you can activate it at distances of up to 3 metres.
The remote includes a removeable phone stand which props up your phone when taking photos, plus the reverse click button can swap the phone camera from front to rear. This device makes it easy to take self portraits or group shots with ease, or use it to perfect your macro photography skills by triggering the shutter without the use of the screen. - A.D.

This is a brilliant little item that lets you take selfies from up to 3Mts away which makes it ideal for group or family photos. It comes with a stand for your phone and it also switches from front camera to rear camera with a flick of a button. Highly recommended.
As is so often the case, once again this site has solved problems we didn't know we had! As most of our family photos comprise of someone rushing in at the last second having set the camera up, it is really nice to have all of us together and ready for the photo! A great idea, brilliant value. I love this site, so thanks again. Recommended and easy to use.
I like it very good indeed, everyone should have one.
Bought as a stocking present for my son, wasn't sure whether or not he would like it, but he uses it a lot! Very good value for money and a great gadget that fits in your pocket. Perfect for group snaps.
I had bought this for my sister as a stocking filler this Christmas but after testing it, I think I may buy myself one as well. Small and compact, you can pop it in your pocket by itself or attach to a key-ring. The detachable phone stand works fairly well on any surface that is reasonably flat. I found landscape mode very forgiving but portrait mode it needs a really level surface.. The device uses sound to send the instructions to the phone (always remember to allow the Snap Remote to use your microphone). Which means you are not having to activate your Bluetooth and pair up the device first, so saves you time and the phones battery power. There is about a slight delay from sending the take photo command to the phone taking the photo but nothing to moan about as your not using this to catch an action shot normally. No option on the app to have it start recording a video instead of a photo, maybe a later version will have that option.
