Nifty gizmo for gadget lovers

My boyfriend loves all these seemingly useless little gizmos, such as the SciXors - Scissor Keyring. It must be a bloke thing.

Do not buy

1

This SciXors - Scissor Keyring is a terrible product. The edges are blunt and won't cut anything.

Nice idea, shame about the result

I bought this SciXors - Scissor Keyring for the days when my Leatherman Style CS is not suitable but they are not fit for purpose. They struggle to cut even one sheet of paper, never mind cable ties. They could not even manage to trim a frayed edge on my nail.

SciXors - Scissor Keyring

I didn't have the problems with getting them on and off of the key chain but the scissors themselves are terrible. It took a lot of effort to cut a single piece of paper. Will be sticking with my swiss card!

Dissapointed

1

It is fiddly to remove and replace from the keyring but it gets better with practice and use. The scissors will only cut a single piece of paper as the blades do not meet properly.

scissors on the go!

These SciXors are a good idea and really useful. I am always trying to find a way to get rid of unwanted labels and these are exactly what you need. Small, compact and can attach to a keyring or bag. The only drawback is that it's hard to get the pin out and in again, and it takes lots of pushing. I think it might be just down to how new the item is. I don't regret buying them and would certainly promote them to my family, friends and anyone who needs scissors.
