1Got this as a present for someone else, and only picked it cause it looked like such a fun present. Kinda assumed it might be a bit overpriced, but was rather unsatisfied when i saw how small the hamper was. there's hardly £10 of sweets here, so i'm assuming the straw was fairly pricey. I can't say this present is anymore impressive than a box of Quality Street, yet costs about 5 times the price

A Sweet Surprise!
5I was given one of these hampers as a Birthday present from my boyfriend and I really enjoyed it. The hamper was filled with lots of my favourite sweets, I loved the Flying Saucers and Lovehearts! I am going to buy one of these for my best friend for Christmas now.

5Don't know how good the product is yet. For my middle-aged son for Christmas. It arrived very swiftly and my DIL says it is beautifully wrapped. Luv Mary

Not exactly as I remember them....
4... but not bad. It could do with the inclusion of a few 'Penny Arrows' and some 'kai-lai' and the Love Hearts of the time didn't look anything like those included. Pity sweet cigarettes have fallen to political correctness - these were absolutely a memory for all of us growing up through the '50s and '60s. Also 'Spanish' in all its shapes and sizes and licquorish root. Anyway, nice try - it'll cause some laughter under the Christmas tree this year! Lovely quality 'hamper', by the way.

2The others reviews say it...nice idea, nice sweets but quite tacky presentation with sweets in plastic bags looking like I did them myself and not many for the money....I'm not sure how much a hamper costs but I'm guessing you could put this together in a nicer way for the money....A novelty little gift but not a show stopper!

5wow wow wow what more can i say this is excellent bought this for my hubby who is a diabetic so probably a diet nightmare but i know he will love it had to wrap it quick or else i was going to gorge myself on it but ill help him xmas day good size and packed full of sweets wicked pressie for anyone

Disappointed
2The idea of getting a hamper full of retro sweets was very appealing hence, I ordered the product. However, on receipt I was left disapointed with (a) the size of the hamper, and (b) the quantity of sweets (vast packaging at the base of the hamper). So unfortuately I feel that this product is overpriced for the quantity of sweets received.

Great gift
3Full of those sweets I used to love as a kid but had forgotten about. It's a gift for my husband and I just know he'll love it. I have to admit, judging by the picture I expected it to be bigger than it is but it's still a good size.
