Lumie Bodyclock is the original wake-up light, also called a dawn simulator. It wakes you gradually with increasing natural light. This is a signal for your body to ease production of sleep hormones (e.g. melatonin) and increase those that help you get up and go (e.g. cortisol). Wake-up lights help to keep your sleep cycle on track, boosting mood, energy and productivity levels all day.

I got this for my son for Christmas as he’s a nightmare at getting up. First time he used it this morning for school and he was awake and up for the first time ever. I definitely recommend this, wakes you up using a light which is nicer than a horrible alarm. My son is 13
A Wonderful product! It does what it says it’ll do and I’m delighted with it. I would recommend this clock to anyone, especially those who want to wake up more gently and naturally instead of getting a fright with a horrible sudden alarm sound. It claims to help SAD sufferers but I’m yet to find out as I haven’t had the clock long. I love it!
A lovely clock, which looks lovely in my room.
The Lumie bodyclock gives you a gentle wakeup, the light increases in brightness to ease waking up
The alarm works really well and is well made. IWOOT had the best price so would definitely buy from IWOOTagain.
The good bits: it does what it says in the tin. I am now waking up more naturally and easily (after a couple of days still getting used to it) The bad bits: the instructions require going over a few times to be sure you understood what it says, but nothing impossible. The only available alarm beep is horrendous though! It defeats the purpose of "waking up gradually and naturally". The first morning whilst still groggy and sleepy I had a sensation to be waking up at a military facility of some kind. Conclusion: good product if you are happy to rely on a different device for a more subtle alarm beep (as guarantee you don't oversleep). Or if you don't mind the sudden metallic wiiikwiiikwiik of the alarm.
I'm still getting used to the controls, but its made a difference already. I recommend for anybody who struggles getting out of bed.
I bought this on a recommendation from a friend and so far am very impressed. It was a bit fiddly to begin with and set up but now i am used to it it is easy to use. I have felt a difference waking up in the morning and the light is very effective giving a much better effect than switching on a bedside light. Definitely worth trying if you struggle in the winter.
I find it really helpful to wake up feeling more awake, I think it leaves you feeling less grumpy in the cold and damp mornings, have seen an improvement in my mood!
It does what it says but is nothing amazing. I was very excited to try it and I don't hate it, but I'm not sure I love it. I'm really not a fan of the alarm sound, there only one option and it's the obnoxious typical NER NER NER NER sound; it's not nice to wake up to. I end up putting my phone alarm on with the Lumie next to it wishing I just saved my money and put a timer on my lamp or something. It's not bad though. By the way, when the alarm clock arrived in the post the bulb that was with it was smashed and I was asked to send the parcel back and I couldn't really be bother with all of that. I ended up buying a pack of 4 light bulbs from Wilkinson's for the same price as one bulb from Lumie and it does the same job and is pretty much exactly the same thing.
