Get a cheap phone instead!

I thought the price was too good to be true...and it was. I bought this for my toddler thinking for that price it doesn't matter what they do with it. But it's really not very good. The main problems are: - It's basically the size of a small phone not a tablet (admittedly I didn't think that it's only 4.3" when i bought it) - It's restricted to Amazon App Store by default. I managed to root it and get Play Store on it but even then I couldn't find many useful apps. - Lots of apps aren't compatible with the device, so you won't even see them in the stores e.g. cbeebies, peppa pig paintbox etc. - The resolution of the device means some apps are unusable. Plus lots of text is too small for the touchscreen and setting a larger font makes it too squashed up. - WiFi range is about 5m i.e. in the room with the router! The only thing that I use it for it YouTube but then the WiFi range is a real pain :( To be honest an old phone would be better than this.

Poor purchase . Cannot I repeat cannot be logged on to The Play to download standard android apps . You have to go through amazon only and is therefore not any good for the kids except as a media player !!

Brilliant for the money

I really like this. For what you pay it's a great little gadget. Mainly used for kids for utube so hasn't been given a full going over but I'm pleased. Will be buying another if comes back in stock.
