It’s ok
Bought this for my kids to give to their Grandad for Christmas. Should have read the description properly. Not as big as I thought it was going to be.
Misleading Image
Don't be confused by the over-enlarged image. This is tiny not anywhere near as big as the image depicts.
Difficult but nice
Lots of bending metal to the correct shape but nice detailed plane when finished.
Experienced watchmakers only
Ridiculously fiddly. The kit needs to be about 10 times bigger. You need a magnifying glass and watchmaker tools to put these together - it rather sadistically suggest needlenose plyers. Right.. I used to build airfix models as a kid so thought this would be a good idea. Sadly I didn't appear to have to eyes of a watchmaker. Gave up after 30 mins of trying and failing to align the tabs and threw it in the bin.
Great Stocking Filler!
I have purchased a few of these for Christmas presents and can't wait to see them once built! They look pretty difficult actually, was originally worried they would be a bit to easy & just for children. Great purchase!!
