Good little BB-8
5I only saw a youtube video of the BB-8 before buying him from this site. To be honest I was a bit disappointed at the size of him, as on video he seems a lot bigger. This disappointment faded very quickly as soon as he was charged (so much for waiting for xmas day to open him). I've had hours of fun with him, just started using the voice recognition. The only thing I would improve on him is his ability to move on carpet.. Best xmas present i've bought myself this year!

Entertaining for a short while
3This is an impressive bit of kit and pretty clever how it works, but to be honest, the novelty does wear off pretty quickly and it becomes another expensive piece of shelf ware. If it had some more features, and ones which were more intelligent (such as learning its environment more accurately) it could retain a better interest level. But sadly not. Another toy which will get used once in a blue moon for me, I'm afraid.

5This BB8 is great, it was actually for a gift for my daughter but I couldn't resist having a go and I'm afraid I will be keeping it and have to go out for something else, I have tried the other droids available, remote control etc but this is my favourite

Best gadget ever !!
5Seen the podcast for this months ago and thought so cool but no way it will be as good come release. I was wrong. This thing is incredible! It is beautifully made and weighty which to me is always an indication of quality. Download the app and your ready to go, and does it go! It is uber responsive and the more you use it the more you become aware of all it's functions. Some have criticised the battery life which is about an hour from a charge. But let's be honest, how often do you use something for longer than that ( if you get the chance ). Buy this little droid and you won't regret it. I'm off for a quick roll round the living room.

5I must say I have found IWOOT .com to be excellent. Easy to use their site. Very quick delivery and have kept me well informed by e mail. I would definitely recommend them to anybody who wants a fast reliable service with lots of products not available on the high st.

5Bought for my big kid (Husband) who is a big Star Wars fan and has been eyeing them up for ages. My only problem is trying to make sure he doesn't buy himself one in the next few weeks. It's still in the box but geeks everywhere love them so I'm confident he will too
