Set in a beautiful park in Cheltenham, your class is the only fully sized outdoor bar-bar flying trapeze rig in the UK – if you’re going to do it, you might as well do it properly! Learn how to swing, knee hang, somersault and even how to catch a second moving trapeze in this fantastic and unique experience.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at your pre-booked trapeze class, you’ll begin with a short warm up, before being provided with a safety belt and receiving a short ground briefing.

You’ll then be attached to the ladder safety line, where you can climb to the platform to prepare for your first swing. Back on the ground, you’ll be given further instructions on a low bar, and then challenged to do a knee hang, somersault and even catch a second moving trapeze! Your teachers are friendly and will make you feel at ease – they’re also happy to give demos throughout.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: 8
• Maximum weight: 15 stone 10lb (100kg)
• Maximum waist measurement: 48in (120cm)
• You must be able to hang by your hands for at least 10 seconds
• Everyone has a fear of heights - jumping off a platform 20 ft in the air isn’t natural! - they will work with you if you are willing to try
• Spectators are welcome
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

• Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
• Your voucher is valid until the date printed on it. Please note that you must have booked and taken you experience before this date.
• The experience is available on weekends to April to October. Exclusion may apply.
• We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
• Please allow a maximum of 3 hours for the full experience to allow for breaks in the weather.

What should I wear?

You are advised to wear something you can move in easily – like yoga gear, long sleeves and trousers are recommended to avoid friction burns, nothing dangling and no jewellery.

What about the weather?

The experience will be cancelled if it is raining heavily and an alternative date will be offered for rebooking. They may delay or extend classes if short showers are expected.

There is boating, pitch and putt golf and other attractions in the park if you want to make it an all day visit to Cheltenham.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
