The 40L Semi-Round plastic Sensor Bin from simplehuman features a motion sensor where infrared fields sense the area in front and above the bin so that the lid opens automatically with a wave of a hand, ideal for touch-free, hygienic lid opening. The innovative sensor area expands when the lid is open so it will not close until you are finished. The bin is 50% quieter than similar bins at only 52dB despite its planetary gear system and 8.4kgf.cm torque for consistently smooth lid operation. The outer lid lifts up fully for easy access to the emptying of the liner without the need to struggle with an inner bucket. Suitable for use with simplehuman custom fit code J liners (not included).
