It's good but not perfect...
4This device only seems to work on flat-panel (LCD or Plasma) screens. I have not managed to get it to work on older CRT TVs. However, I have not found a flat-panel TV that won't be turned off by it! Can cause interference with other IR devices as well, but it has a good range and is discrete enough to not attract attention. Lots of fun to be had with this!

I got the power
5...OFF. really really powerful tool. ever been to a Mall with a 20 meters wall of TV HD-TVS FULL READY and so on? well, it works. "Let there be dark," and there was dark.

5I sent this little gizmo to my mum for Mother's Day and she fell about laughing. She thinks my dad is a telly addict and will be making his life a misery from now on. Result!

too much fun!
5This tiny keyring has provided many hours of sneaky fun. My partner thought this was 'chidish' to begin with, but is now insepertable from it. Works well at home and outside!!

5This is such fun! I advise people to get on of these and go (unseen) into TV rentals shop, find a seat or somewhere to stand, and record a YT prank. Wesgate Ownage!

Let Down
1How annoying! Did not do what it said on the tin, we tried it on our telly and it worked once after several tries, even that once wasn't instant there was quite a delay before the tv went off, hate complaining but........

Sporadic
3Doesn't work on my own TV, but did work on the in-laws (accidentally). Put my hand in my pocket and managed to turn their tv off. Haven't tried it on any other TVs yet, but have noticed that it interferes with a couple of other infra-red controlled items in the house as well.

Telly Terminate
4I gave this to my 27-year old nephew as a Christmas extra. Oops! He's progressed from upsetting the footy watchers in the pub ("He shoots... its... gone off") to baffling salesmen in Currys - they look really confused when, in mid demo, their 40" TV goes off - then a whole row follow... still, all that saved power is saving the planet!
