5This is a wonderful piece of gear - sturdy and nice to hold. It delivers power when needed with no problems. All I need now is a bigger belt pouch for it to fit in!

Poor quality
1As the other reviewer says, this thing cracks for no reason. I've been through six of these with various issues. Number 1 was charging the phone all the time and a crack had appeared in the case above the logo, number 2 worked correctly i.e. it only charged when you pressed the button to charge, but eventually it cracked and a chunk fell off exposing a circuit board, numbers 3-6 all have the charging issue where they charge the phone all the time, constant buzzing when it shouldn't etc. Would be perfect otherwise, nice size, not too bulky.

Wouldn't be without it!
5I bought one of these over a year ago and it is still in perfect condition. It has been camping, hospital stay-overs and used very frequently- I wouldn't be without one! My husband also uses it for his iPhone4 and we have never had a problem. I am buying another one for my mum this Christmas.

Could've been so good, but it wasnt :-(
1I've just returned my second Powerskin back to the manufacturer, after 3 weeks with the first one I noticed there was a hairline crack just above the LED lights on the side. The nrepalcement also started to split after just 2 weeks, this is a definite production issue as I only had it in my trouser pocket whilst going to work then it was sat on my desk. The other really annoying thing is that when your phone battery starts to lose charge the Powerskin either vibrates or makes its beeping noise when it starts to charge the phone, sometimes this could be going on every few seconds for several minutes, in the end it became so annoying it put me off using it. Its ideal for use as an emergency battery pack but for day to day use it just wont last, it will get cracks on the side and the constant charging alerts will drive you nuts! Nice idea, nice design but need to address the above problems unfortunately......
