5My mum brought me this for Christmas last year. I have a massive fear of spiders and cannot sleep If I can see one in my room. I can't bring myself to squash them. Getting this has been the best thing ever. In the year so far, I have used it on roughly about 8-10 spiders and it's caught each one perfectly. Once caught in the bristles, the spider will just sit there pretty helpless - no squirming, and it's even handier that the bristles are quite clear, so you can double check to see if it's definitely caught in there. The length is brilliant, no, it's perfect. It's not too long so you have enough control, and not too short to feel you're too close to the spider. It's great for when they are on ceilings and in hard places to reach. The device comes with a little cap to cover the bristles from getting damaged, too. It comes with a little plastic practice spider... however it felt very disburbing, leaving it on the side in my room, because at a glance, it looks real! But it can be a good trick to play on your family and friends perhaps... If I could mark this out of 100 it would get 110, because it's just one of the handiest things I've ever been given to, get around this Arachnophobia!

5My older sister cannot stand spiders - she shrieks at even the ones the size of a pinhead. However, she doesn't like killing them. So, I bought this for her last Christmas and she absolutely adores it! At first, she was reluctant to get anywhere near the spider, but now she is happily depositing spiders outside whenever the opportunity arises. Plus, I too am arachnophobic, so I occasionally steal this tool off her and borrow it for a few days! It is an excellent gadget, it just requires you to have the guts to approach the beast so you can catch it.

Great gift
5This product is great! I bought it last year and gave it as a present to my girlfriend and she loves it. If I'm in the house I still have to catch the spiders but using this is so much easier than the glass and sheet of paper technique. You can even grab them off the ceiling without too much effort. I must have caught about 30 spiders over the year with it and every one of them made it out alive.

Brilliant
5One of the best things I've bought in a long time. It's safe to say I struggle with spiders however this has taken the fear out of dealing with them. So easy, and the little blighters get to roam free outside instead of feeling the back of a Yellow Pages. Love it.

5Spider-catching was never an easy task in my house, as all my friends and I hate spiders so much. Now I've caught about 5 spiders, but my favourite game is catching daddy long legs, mid-flight! The only downside is that my friends are still too scared to use it, but on the positive note, at least it's elevated my "brave factor" in their eyes.

5I bought this for a friend for her birthday as she is a complete wuss when it comes to spiders. She completely loved it, although didn't like the free plastic spider that comes with it, to practice on! It's definitely a present she will get lots of use out of!

5Looking for an apt but amusing present for the sister-in-law who has now emigrated to Australia, this leapt off the page. I can't wait to see her expression when she unwraps this, when I visit them. I would say though, it does look totally practical for her to "catch" the so-called terrifying creatures, and still remaining at arms length.

Great purchase!
5Bought this for the wife to save me having to get rid of the spiders everytime one appeared. The wife thought it was just a toy but she's used it twice since she got it and it's worked brilliantly both times! Recommended if like me you're fed up having to get up to get the "Tarantula in the kitchen".

5I bought my daughter a battery-operated Spider Catcher a couple of years ago. The idea was, it sucked the spider up a tube, only it was rubbish, as there was not enough power. So this Christmas, I bought IWOOT's Spider catcher, and it is brilliant. She screamed at the pretend spider to practice with, (while I fell about laughing!) but it works! And it is fantastic!
