Great Gadget
5I am super happy with this kettle. It is completely pointless but strangely enough a really handy gadget. It looks smart, is pretty quiet and really quick to boil the water. We needed a new kettle anyway and this seemed like the best option, i have certainly not regretted it at all and would recommend it to anyone. The only bad point is the app itself is not that great and could do with a bit of refinement, i am sure this will come in time.

Fantastic
5Such a great idea, can't believe no one has thought of it before! Ideal when you are rushing around in the morning to be able to come down to an already brewed kettle. It looks good, is convenient and saves time...what more would you want!

Could be slightly better
4Overall a fantastic product , wake up and boil your kettle from a click on your phone . Only downfall is you reconnect your phone from time to time .

4As a kettle its great, but not all the features with app work consistently? This is a bit annoying sometimes. hope this only a software problem and is fixed!

Avoid this product
1Non of these features work with android phones apart from boil. This is a useless product and the problems are not listed at all. You can use all functions with an iPhone but not android.

Ikettle 2.0 mixed review
4I love this kettle, it looks smart and saves me time but it is currently missing some features that the box states this kettle does! Currently you can remote turn on and check water level. The calibration is currently not very accurate after several attempts. Waiting app features are for wake up time to turn on kettle, turn on when you get to a location, stored custom temperatures and formula mode. This is all on an android phone. Not sure if the apple app already has the features the box states. I have contacted the manufacturer and told the updated app should be coming January so defiantly worth getting. It is worth getting a cover for the kettle as catching a finger on the kettle is not nice plus the covers keep the water at temp for longer! If all the features had been in the app I would have giving it 5 stars

Ikettle 2.0
5I bought the original ikettle when it first came out in 2014. It was awful connecting it to the wifi network, water ran down the front of the kettle from the spout causing calcium build up on the joints. Bought the ikettle 2.0......connected to the network first time. A. better designed spout means no more water dribble!! Fantastic upgrade for the ikettle 1, I'm so happy I decided to replace mine with the ikettle 2.0!!!!
