Very Good Gift Idea!!

I bought this for a friend who is obsessed with owls and he loves it! i was a bit sad that he doesnt actually hoot at you, but then nothing is perfect, and he was very at home sitting on top of Dom's Mac... :D Thank you very much IWOOT for your excellent service and delivery times, and als for your innovative products!!

A strigine sensation! This cute little fellow came home for Christmas, but he's fun all year round. Waking up as soon as you turn on your computer, he blinks his eyes and turns his head - the clever little gizmo that makes this all happen makes a quiet noise that sounds as if he's snoring, but it isn't loud enough to be bothersome. Diverting but not distracting, he can be set to sleep mode, turning his head occasionally but not blinking, or left to move randomly. His wings are hinged so that they can be extended, and he sits on his tree stump - handy if you're on a laptop - or on top of your screen with equal ease. The owl we received was a pale cream colour rather than the darker grey in the image, and the image provided doesn't do him justice. Like owls? Buy one! Don't like owls? You're probably a mouse.

Nice enough

Possibly my favourite christmas present, at least before I opened it. Everything moved, exept for the eyelids, which stayed closed. Even with this, it provided a small amount of enjoyment before being re-packaged and sent for replacement. Second one works fine, and brightens up my desk when I wake it up and it shakes its head in a gratifiying display of owl affection.

Cute, but frail

The USB owl is very cute, and I loved the fact that you can set it to different "activity levels" (perfect to keep it moving but not annoy workmates too much). Unfortunately, it seems to have died after a few months of usage... I would say if you're buying one, don't keep it plugged in too long at a time.
