5Well, I bought this as a birthday present for my mum, but being the kind, thoughtful type, I decided to check to see if it was working before wrapping it in paper and ribbons, and presenting it with a fanfare. I duly installed the batteries and pressed the little button - hours later I resurfaced from my daze, having been transfixed by the twinkling and colourful lights on this gorgeous and sturdy umbrella! Seized by its beauty, I then decided to test run it in its native environment, donning my wellies and bravely venturing into the night (my front drive) and proceeding to twirl it around ( ...the umbrella) whilst skipping and humming a merry tune. I think it is safe to say that: A) I had a hard time parting with this beautiful creation B) my mum is now the envy of all her drab umbrella carrying companions C) It is on my Christmas list D) the neighbours now have proof I am a crazy lady rather than just suspecting this to be the case. Top brolly, we love it!!

5I decided to buy 2 as it would make a great present for anyone wanting something different! Umbrella very strong so far. Once batteries inserted, the lights change colour often, would make a perfect gift for funky adults and possibly kids, from parents making sure they stand out in the crowd, especially at night time. So far so good, and absolutely no trouble whatsoever with it. Great idea, great design, very happy with my purchase.

4I bought this for my 20-something daughter and she loved it. It's a really big umbrella - black on the outside with a silvery underside. When you press the button - this brolly comes to life! The tiny lights sparkle on the dull black background. The colours are bright and sparkly and gradually move from one colour to another through beautiful combinations. The lights can be seen from underneath also - making it a really fun item. This umbrella is rather heavy and long. Guaranteed to get lots of admiring glances and envious comments, this umbrella will brighten up the dullest, dreariest day. Bring on the rain!

5The umbrella is amazing and works perfectly. I already had one which broke so this is a replacement and even better, the lights are on both sides of the umbrella! My last one only had them on the outside.

5Very different from your standard umbrella in that it lights up when switched on and is even better to use at night. When most people don't like the rain and curse when it does rain, having one of these umbrellas you are willing it to rain and when it does you find yourself making every excuse to pop to the shops or just pop out for a stroll with the dog and with your new Colour Phasing Stars Umbrella. A great buy, well made and definitely a head turner.

1I bought this umbrella as a birthday gift and ordered it with 3 weeks to spare. On arrival we inserted the batteries and were very pleased. When we took it out again to wrap, it did not work (lights didn't light up), so we put new batteries in again and all was well. However when we gave it to our friend on her birthday, she reported that the lights again didn't work. On phoning IWOOT, I was told there was nothing to be done as we had gone over 28 days. They couldn't even find the manufacturer's name! What a waste of money.

5I bought one of these 2 years ago....FABULOUS until it was stolen last month! Thankfully my new cheer~me~up~ brolly arrived on Valenties day! and we have rain & snow due all week! Love it! Strangers are asking me where to get one! Well recommended

5I cannot begin to describe how brilliant this is! It is very good quality and a nice sturdy design. It is black, quite plain and ordinary until you switch that little button on the end of the handle and the light show begins!!! I stood in the garden tonight to test it in the dark and i am hoping for a dark, dreary day tomorrow so I can put it to good use!

5I just can't wait for it to rain now, hopefully in the dark!! The lights look lovely. The umbrella is of a decent size and ,makes it perfect for sharing. Love the product and highly recommend it.
