Build Darth Vader's TIE Fighter with the Star Wars Metal Construction Kit. This incredibly detailed model starts out as two sheets of laser cut parts that can be transformed into a fantastic 3D model. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions and pop out all the pieces, bend the tabs, then slot them together. - A.D.

Very small not what i was expecting looks a lot of money for this product what what it is.
You will need eyes of an Eagle, the fingers of an eight year old and the engineer skills of isambard kingdom brunel. Do not buy.
Out of the 3 we got (R2D2 and Millenium Falcon) this by far was the worst to put together. The instructions need rewriting as there are parts you need to add before doing up other parts (ie add the sides before doing up the central body) otherwise impossible to do. Also this was the only one where multiple parts (mainly tags) snappedeaning I have had to glue a couple of the bits. All in all they look great and while fiddly to put together they are good fun and my son certainly loves the finished product.
This is a lovely looking model. Not one of the more robust models in the series but it's not as challenging as some of the others. Great detail as in all the star-wars series this is my sixth model in the series and well worth the effort. Again great service and fast delivery from IWOOT
Bought as a gift but really looks the part, delivery service brilliant
Was a lot smaller than I thought and I can't comment on how well it looks when finished as it is a present - but great idea
Good Quality, and a definite sense of achievement when finished, only thing is that it is quite small so very fiddly.
Somewhat fiddly but very rewarding. My advice - really look at the instructions! Don't do up the middle bit until everything's attached or you'll never be able to fix it. I have some jewellers pliers which were really helpful as they are small and precise. Tweezers are handy too. All in all this was great fun to make, both challenging and satisfying and now I can zoom it around the room making sound effect noises and relive the films!
Tiny but really detailed and looks cool!
