4These were, inevitably Christmas presents. So far one has been opened to cries of delight. However, I wasn't 100% happy with the selection of contents, and added some - I felt there were far too many poached eggs (delicious) and cola bottles; so many they looked like padding. I added flying saucers, sherbet fountains and dip-dabs. It was a tight squeeze, because the jars were already well-packed! I consider these to be good value for money, but a better balance of sweets (especially flying saucers, which everyone loves) would make them even better. Delivery and packaging could not have been bettered - the service was six-star!

A lovely little taster of IWOOT's retro sweet jars
4I bought this as part of the 3 for £20 offer since it is one of the few retro sweet products not to contain licorice wheels or Black Jacks (two of my least favourite sweets). Instead it contains cola bottles (just as good as the Haribo ones), fried eggs (that had a lovely vanilla scent), Cherry Fiz Wiz Popping Candy (the crackle was incredible), candy whistles, Fun Gums, Fizzers, Refresher chews, Love Hearts and Parma Violets (my least favourite sweet in the jar but they're much nicer than Black Jacks and licorice). Most sweets were enjoyable although I would like to have seen an extra roll of Love Hearts. Other than that, this would make a lovely gift for others or a little something to treat yourself (which is what I did!). 4/5.

3The Mini Sweet Jar looks much better value than it is. I bought two for my children and they liked the idea but weren't too keen on the fried eggs or cola bottles because they tasted different from the brands they are used to.
