Everybody knows that stereo equipment sounds much better if it's black. This might not be scientifically accurate, but deep down we all know this to be true. The Profile USB Turntable is, to quote the Tap, "None more Black" and literally drips cool off its shiny piano black finish. Not only does this record player give you the opportunity to take your vinyl out of mothballs for a bit of a listen, but you can convert your records into MP3 files and save them on your computer. Then all you need to do is transfer them to your iPod or MP3 player and you can listen to your old skool tunes anywhere you want. Much simpler than devising an intricate backpack type harness with integral extension cable and schlepping your stereo system everywhere you go.
The turntable comes with EZ Vinyl converter software so you can quickly rip tracks off your records and transfer them to iTunes on your PC or Mac and the Audacity software will let you get rid of those annoying pops and crackles (though, if you're a vinyl purist you could argue that they're all part of the charm).

Bringing back the 80's!!
I bought this for my hubby for Xmas wondering whether it was about as random as him buying me a kettle (he didn't and is hence still alive!!) I needn't have worried though... he was straight out to the garage on Boxing Day trawling through box upon box of old vinyl and has pretty much lived in the computer room since reliving his youth:-) I'm thinking that my next purchase will be a patch of lino and a hat so he can have a go at the windmills etc that he says he was good at... we'll see, perhaps I should put casualty on red alert!! Anyway, back to the product, great value and perfect for those of you who just can't bear to part with vinyl... convert it and make some space in the garage/loft!!!

Record Player is good hit for Hubbies Christmas
Not actually tried the player yet as wrapped up for the big day. It was a good price for the product, had no delivery charge and was sent really quickly with no problems. The IWOOT team are a good lot and wish you all a very merry christmas

USB Turntable
Dead easy to set up and use,only downside is the software needs Itunes to import the music to which sometimes can be a pain,would prefer to just import them to a specific folder
