The Dyson AM09 Hot and Cool fan is an innovative air multiplier with ‘Jet Focus control’ to offer both focused and diffused air flows. Featuring a second aperture for targeted air flow, the Hot and Cool fan can offer ‘focused mode’: a blast of cooling or warming directed air just for you in addition to ‘diffused mode’ to heat and cool a room quickly and evenly.
In cooling mode, the Dyson Hot and Cool draws in 28 litres of air per second, keeping you cool all year round. Whilst in heating mode the intelligent thermostat constantly monitors the room temperature, automatically switching warm air on and off to achieve the pre-selected temperature.
Numerous safety features ensures the Dyson Hot and Cool is a safe option for home use: an automatic cut-out if the fan tips over, no visible heating elements and no blades or grills. The heating element will never exceed 200 °C, the burning point of dust, so there is never a burning smell.
The AM09 can be programmed to turn off after pre-set intervals ranging from 15 minutes to 9 hours. A remote control has oscillation, temperature and airflow control and a sleep timer. The useful remote is magnetised and curved to be neatly stored on the machine. Easy to clean and safe, the AM09 Hot and Cool fan has been awarded the Quiet Mark by the Noise Abatement Society for improved sound quality.
