This detailed metal construction kit contains everything you need to create a realistic 3D model of the iconic Transformers Autobot, Bumble Bee. Simply use the easy to follow instructions to pop out the pieces from the metal sheets, bend the tabs and attach them to the connection points to create the model. Have made 2 other kits with no problems but this one is a nightmare. Metal is too thin and every fold results in the metal breaking. Totally useless kit. Avoid
Exactly what I hoped it would be, bought for my fiancé's birthday as he is a he loved Transformers as a child. A lot fiddlier as I thought & definitely smaller than expected - approx 10-15cm tall. Apart from that, good buy!
I have bought 2 Star Wars models before this and a megatron kit as well so I was looking forward to making another. The kit came in a couple of days, well packed and as expected. The kits aren't too hard to put together (but then again not to easy) but I like the challenge. I would recommend buying a pair of really small needle nosed pliers, or I use a pair of sharp pointed tweezers to deal with the bending and twisting of the small tabs. All that said with a bit of patience anyone could put together these amazing models, and the end result is a quality small little statue/model you have made yourself. Hope I didn't bore anyone to death and maybe encouraged some people to buy these great little kits, the value for the price can't be argued. Thanks IWOOT.
They are quite small but very intricately detailed. Careful when bending some of the pieces like the elbow. You'll need a steady hand and small pliers but look great once put together.
Thought it would of been bigger than it was. Maybe you need to add size once it's made to avoid disappointment
My husband's inner child loved it! I bought Bumble bee and Star Trek's Klingon and we had a big-kids playdate, assembled it together and placed it in the work room so everyone could see :)
Was very pleased with the speed and quality of product
I love the idea of these kits and thought they'd make the ideal christmas present for my brother, who's 35 by the way! LOL It comes in a flat package about the size of an A5 piece of paper, so doesn't look like much on the outside. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that it's fabulous once constructed.
