Description

There's no denying that rush of excitement as the air around fills with the "whup, whup, whup" of a helicopter in flight, even if it is only a traffic helicopter. Imagine the rush of adrenaline when confronted with an Apache gunship. Anyone who sneakily stayed up late to watch hour after hour of terrible 80's action movies will no doubt jump for joy when they get a load of this new Micro BladeZ Apache helicopter.

The Micro BladeZ Apache has been lovingly modelled on one of the coolest helicopters ever to see combat on the battlefield (it hunts tanks people! TANKS!) and it can be yours to play with in your very own living room without turning it into a warzone - it's small enough so if it does crash it isn't likely to take out your shelving unit.

The Micro BladeZ Helicopters range also includes the Micro BladeZ and they're the first fully controllable 3 channel micro helicopters, meaning they can go left, right, up, down, forward and backward and they're small enough to fly indoors without having to replace the furniture afterwards. Even the cockpit lights up, so if you're feeling particularly daring you can attempt a night flight - best keep the dog outside then. Surprisingly enough they're not altogether difficult to control - we locked our office idiot in the meeting room and told him he wasn't allowed out until he'd learnt how to fly the things properly, he was out within 48 hours (this isn't actually true before you start writing to Amnesty, he volunteered - we told you he was an idiot).

  • A fully controllable 3 channel helicopter to fly in your very own living room.
  • Design based on the AH64 Apache Gunship.
  • The 3 Channel control has auto-balance so you don't have to constantly battle the controls.
  • Requires 6 x AA batteries (not included) for the controller and 1 x Li-Poly 3.7V 65mAh rechargeable battery for the helicopter (included).
  • Suitable for ages 12 years+.
  • Size: 17 x 8.5 x 3cm.

I recieved my helicopter yesterday. At first it was tricky to fly it, i couldnt set the trim right, i flew into walls and doors and crashed alot. It seems pretty robust for such a little thing. today i flew it twice and only crashed once :) im getting the hang of it and can fly from room to room around the house. The only bad this is that my dog hates it. Overall this helicopter is very good and i suggest it to anyone who likes that kind of thing.

The Apache is not easy to fly and skill is wanted (not necessarily got!!!). I'm sure once you get the hang of it it is dead easy!

I purchased the Micro Bladez Apache for my Father for Christmas. This was the 3rd time I had purchased a remote control helicopter for him, as the previous 2 wouldn't work (one bought from Meadowhall and the other from Firebox). He flew the helicopter with no problems whatsoever! Simple instructions made his flying experience fun and not boring!! My 6 year old nephew asked for a go...and it turned out he could fly it and keep it in the air, longer than my dad!! So as you can see, it can be flown by a 6 year old upto a 62 year old!!! Definately recommend this product, infact I will shortly be purchasing another one, as it's the 6 year olds birthday in February, and he has asked for one!

A Micro BladeZ Apache. This was bought as a Xmas present for a sisters 12 year old son. The boy absolutely adored it. He regarded it as his best Xmas present, even though some of the others cost a lot more money. He was somewhat upself when we would not let him use in our dining room on Xmas day.

A great fun toy, simple to fly and well built. Have crashed into walls several times and it is still going strong. Great feeling when you get the hand of the controls and can fly around pretending you are on some seek and destroy mission as you raise up from behind the sofa and fly past over the dogs head.
