The best things in life are free, and sunlight is pretty well at the top of the list. The only trouble is of course, that the sun has a regular habit of shuffling off to the other side of the world leaving everything a little dark round here. Fortunately this tiny gizmo ensures that the sun leaves a little light behind that you can carry around with you on a key ring. It's integral mini solar panel stores up energy from the sun and via it's three super-bright LEDs becomes a blazing and very useful little torch when night falls. Many of these sorts of solar powered lights can have a tendency to be a tad lame, but this one is not only astonishingly bright, it also lasts for an absurdly long period of time, so long in fact that we don't know how long it is - we got bored waiting for it to run out of power. It comes in a shock resistant rubber casing, and naturally requires no batteries, ever. Free light for life.

  • A startlingly bright solar powered key ring torch.
  • The key ring's solar panel stores solar energy when left on a windowsill/in sunlight, the solar energy powers the torch's three bright LEDs.
  • A shock resistant rubber exterior protects the solar panel from impact.
  • Requires exposure to sunlight.
  • Suitable for ages 8 years+.
  • Size: 6 x 3.5 x 1cm.

brilliant

Like yourselves, I've not made any effort to 'recharge' my light - it spends most of it's time in my bag but whenever I need it, it seems fully charged. Seems like IWOOT is onto a winner in the 'save the planet' stakes!

Very useful!

Very handy and a very bright light, instantly available on your key ring.

Only average

A bit flimsy , and charge doesn't last as long as I hoped

90% there...

First written review here (Ive only ever ordered couple of things over the years!) Saw the torch here on the site and really wanted one, as Ive had torches on my keyring before but theyve fallen apart or Ive lost batteries etc so really liked the fact that this was solar powered and had good reviews. Had the torch a short while, the light is brilliant (tested in the dark a couple of times!) The only negative I have is the keyring attachment which came apart in my pocket after about a week. If I hadnt noticed Id have lost it! I have since put a proper ring on the light and reattached to my keys so it will now be with me forever! Really good buy, just ditch the chain that it comes with and attach Ur own!

bright idea

Bought lots of these for friends at christmas, they made them beam : )

Really handy buy

I brought this keyring for my gadget mad boyfriend. I gave him a few other things as well, including a £100 hard drive for his computer. He says his keyring was the best present ever! Wish I hadn't spent the other £200 on him now!! We went to the movies and I dropped something, out came the torch. New Years Eve the lights went out in our hotel, out came the torch. He went outside to look for something I had agaiin yes dropped as I came out of the car, out came the torch. He loves the torch and it has come to my rescue a few times...my torch in shining armour!! Brilliant buy.

Extremely bright

Def works and the light is pretty bright so husband was very impressed with his gift!

Solid Item!

Super Bright, Tough case and free energy all in one nutshell!!

Need a free finger

This torch is great, it has saved me several times from darkness and you don’t need to worry about battery live! (still to try in winter) but you do need to keep the finger in the button which sometimes may not be practical if you need both hands while the light is on.
