For any Star Wars fan this is a must. And for a mother of a 14 year old who is generally glued to his lap top it is priceless. He has spent hours putting these models to see and the pride on his face after is just brilliant. They are very fiddly though and have some incredibly tiny pieces
brilliant to put together & i think another way to showcase star wars vehicles
Fab product and delivery time couldn't be beaten! Ordered one morning and delivered the next!
This us one of the more challenging models. But well worth the effort as it looks great
This is fiddly as a very fiddly thing! Small hands, tiny tools, excellent eye sight and very steady hands are needed. It's fab when it's finished though. I got several of these at the same time and did this after 2 or 3 others which helped, but it's still a little on the wobbly side! You can't tell when it's in a display cabinet and I'm not telling anyone! I really enjoyed making this, challenging and satisfying and great for a Star Wars fan.
I got this as a present for my boyfriend who is a great Star Wars fan and he loved it. It will be good if there is some more description of the size because it turned out it is smaller than I thought but still super cool. It also could be a wee bit fiddly when constructing but worth all the while!!!! Will definitely recommend it !
hello Unfortunately out of the four kits I bought this ones broken. If possible could I exchange it?
Brilliant little gift for my boyfriend who loves star wars lego but wanted something a bit more 'grown up'. Completed it looks great on his desk at work. He found it necessary to use tweezers but said it was a great build that he really enjoyed. I would definitely buy him the other models
Marvelous! A little fiddly, but easier than you might expect , so long as you follow the instructions
Too fiddly. Too flimsy. You will need the patience of a saint and the touch of a micro-surgeon. Don't waster your money!
Quite sturdy, very nice when built, using mine as a paperweight :)
Great product for any Star Wars fans. No additional items necessary for construction and great once assembled.
Excellent models to add to my collection.
These are very fiddly to put together and tough on your fingers
Always loved construction kits irrespective of size or complexity. This kit is beautifully crafted and elegantly small. Doesn't take long to assemble but the quility of the finished kit more than makes up for the lack of 'build time' .
Like the other models in this series very detailed, patience needed but great when finished
Too small and some parts broke easily. Need loads of patience and extremely good model making skills. Love concept of product needs to be scaled up so half as big again as very fiddly. Like idea that don't need lots of tool or glue. Look good on shelving when finished.
Good product and top notch when finished. However A LOT more complicated than the picture looks.
I can only echo the other reviews. Very fiddly. You need to have either very small Elven tool from Santas workshop and a magnifying glass or be a Borrower. My wife got me the collection of these and I had a go at the Tie Fighter. I destroyed it. I couldn't see the little tabs and nothing fitted right so I gave up. The little lasers on the front snapped so I stopped. I moved on to Vaders ship and completed it. Minus lasers and a bit of the wing strut. Worth a go if you love building models, don't buy if you can't thread cotton through a needle eye.
I saw these little metal Star Wars models and thought they were extremely cool, and they are, but they are also so incredibly annoying it is unbelievable. The units are very small and fiddly to put together and it is (IMO) impossible to make them perfect as the metal is either too strong to connect together easily or too weak to not bend out of shape when making them. The worst part is making the main body for the Tie Fighter - making a nice little circle out of fiddly little flat pieces of metal takes a lot of patience and swearing :) Build time is about 4-8 hours for each as you have to take your time to get something that looks remotely correct!
