Sometimes, scanning can be a bit of a nightmare. More often than not the scanners themselves sit, unloved, underneath computer tables, and you need to get down on the floor to use them in the first place. With the CopyCat Scanner it's as easy as dragging your hand across a piece of paper - it's a hand-held document scanner that runs rings around its flat, desk-bound contemporaries (not literally).
Tremendously simple, all you have to do to commit your chosen document to virtual memory is hold it steady on a flat surface and slowly drag the scanner across it - hey presto, your document is now a picture file on the Micro SD card in the scanner. Though you will have to provide your own SD card, once it's in there the capacity balloons up to as much as a whopping 32GB. Once it's loaded on to the scanner, you can take it wherever you need or transfer it straight to your computer via the included USB cable.
It doesn't sacrifice quality for convenience either - it might be a cinch to scan your photos, documents, magazines and whatnot, but the 600 DPI resolution will give you super clarity. There's also a feature that reduces any distortion you might get from dragging erratically, and you can easily tinker with the colour and monochrome settings. Text processing software also enables you to edit any words you might be scanning. It beats copying it all out, anyway.

CopyCat Portable Scanner
This has made my life so much easier with scanning sheets from time to time. I have been ill for quite a while but when I went back to school I didn't have to take the person's book home to photocopy the work I missed. No hassle. I had the portable copycat scanner which hardly even took very much time to copy notes instead of writing the notes up or photocopying with my scanner. I am very satisfied with this product.

Copycat hand held scanner
Just arrived today and I have tried it out. An excellent device that scans colour and monochrome documents photos etc which can then be transferred to the computer. Great gadget for my work as I do agency work for solicitors up and down the country and to date have had to photograph documents in the clients house. Now with copycat I can have it in my briefcase ready to use whenever I need to copy a clients documentation before downloading to my computer and emailing them to the solicitor. Simple, easy to use.
