If you decided to print off every photo you've ever taken with your phone or digital camera you'd probably have to move to a bigger house, which is why they no doubt end up stored on your hard drive. Back when photographs used to be printed on paper, and weren't stored on the myriad of electronic devices slowly taking over your life, framing a picture used to be a complicated and expensive affair involving a trip to the shops and spending an afternoon sifting through holiday snaps from Alicante to make absolutely certain the photo was good enough to grace your living room wall. Now it's even simpler, and you don't even have to pop down to the chemists to get your photos developed.
The Compositor 7 inch digital photo frame is a must for anyone who wants to display their nearest and dearest on the living room wall. The 7 inch screen has a 480 x 234 resolution (which is pretty decent) and displays in 16:9 widescreen, so there's no denying the picture quality. It's compatible with all manner of memory cards so all you have to do is slot one into the frame and select the picture you'd like to be displayed. Can't choose between the thousands of photos on the card? Not a problem - the slideshow function allows the frame to cycle through the different pics and you can select and create intervals of up to an hour. You can even adjust the arm at the back of the frame to display the photos in portrait or landscape. It's the picture frame for the modern world.

I found the quality of the displayed picture poor - not as good as viewing pictures on the PC screen, for example. And the way it refreshes - part of the image, then another part, was also disappointing, I thought it might display the image all in one go. The final problem is that because the device is clever enough to auto-rotate the portrait images to the landscape display, you lose the top and bottom of the image.
