Located in Belgravia in a grand Grade II listed mansion, Kouzu is a contemporary Japanese restaurant serving the latest in sushi innovations and a combination of modern and traditional dishes. The chefs at Kouzu know their way around sushi, led by founder chef Kyoichi Kai, and with a winner of the UK heat of the Global Sushi Challenge 2015 among their ranks there’s nowhere better to learn (and no-one better to learn from) how to handle sharp knives and the finest raw and delicious ingredients.

After you’ve honed your skills under the Kouzu chefs’ tutelage you’ll also get to indulge in some cocktails prepared by the restaurant’s bartenders, made of the best gins, vodkas or liqueurs. Whichever you fancy there’s a mix of the finest tipple waiting for you, an ideal masterclass combination and a fun, fascinating couple of hours out in London.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at the Kouzu restaurant you’ll make your way through the palatial entrance before being greeted by staff and shown through to the open-plan kitchen. Here you’ll learn from Kouzu’s expert sushi chefs some of the skills that make them so sought after, and with a winner of the UK heat of the Global Sushi Challenge 2015 among their ranks you’ll be in good hands.

After you’re all sushi-ed out you’ll be able to throw together some tasty cocktails in the Kouzu bar, the perfect wind-down and finish to an intriguing day out.

Availability

Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

This experience will be available on selected Saturdays September to July inclusive (excludes August) from 12.00 to 14.00.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure a date is available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow approximately 3 hours for the whole experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
