Strap in for an adventure with Hangloose at The Eden Project. One of the UK’s top adrenaline experiences, take on four amazing activities: SkyWire, Big Air, Gravity, and The Drop.

SkyWire is England’s longest and fastest zip-wire experience. 90m above the ground, you’ll cruise for 600m, reaching speeds of up to 60mph. Pure exhilaration and great coastal views combine, for a feeling as close to flying as you’ll find. Gravity is once again in full force for the 20m giant cliff swing; leave your stomach behind and experience weightlessness on your freefall back to earth.

If you’ve ever fancied yourselves as stuntmen, Big-Air will put you to the test. It’s just one step, but it’s harder than it looks on this airbag drop of epic proportions. Having worked up an appetite for freefall, head over to The Drop for a 33ft plummet over the cliff edge. You’ll each receive a personal video to download free of charge as a memento of your day.

What happens on the day?

On arrival to Hangloose at The Eden Project, you’ll both meet your instructors for safety briefings before you begin your four incredible experiences.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Participant guidelines

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Big Air Guidelines: Maximum weight: 120kg/18st 12lbs
  • The Big Air is a high impact activity and requires participants to be fit with no previous neck / back / joint conditions
  • Gravity Guidelines: Maximum weight: 120kg/18st 12lbs
  • Skywire Guidelines: Minimum weight: 35kg/5st7lbs. Maximum weight: 120kg/18st 12lbs
  • The Drop Guidelines: Maximum weight: 120kg/18st 12lbs
  • All participants will be weighed before being harnessed
  • Additionally, all equipment must fit appropriately
  • Spectators are welcome
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

Your voucher will be valid for 12 months from the issue date.

The experience is available between Easter and the end of October half term.

Flights take place from 10.00 to 17.00. Late night openings until 19.00 happen on selected days during the summer holidays.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

If/when you are within 3 months of the voucher expiry date and there are still restrictions in place, Virgin Experience Days are offering free extensions to allow the customer to use at a later date.
