Head out onto 100 acres of beautiful Ribble Valley countryside and learn the finer art of trial riding, with a Full Day Beginners Trial Bike Experience for one.

No experience is necessary, just a willingness to get started! After being kitted out, you’ll begin with an hour’s training on your motorbike. As the day progresses, sections will become more demanding – you’ll experience the pure exhilaration of trial riding as you tackle varying terrain and different challenges. With a homemade hot lunch included and expert tuition from fully qualified instructors who’ve competed at national level, this promises to be a fantastic day out on two wheels.

What happens on the day?

On arrival, you’ll need to head into the shop, where you’ll sign in, get kitted up, and enjoy a complimentary hot drink while you watch a safety briefing video. You’ll begin with some beginner’s training, doing figures of 8 on your bike to make sure your body position is correct.

Once you’re feeling confident, you’ll advance on to various sections, each one getting more challenging as the day progresses. You can tuck into a hot lunch as part of your day, perfect fuel for more adventure. You’ll enjoy expert tuition throughout from fully qualified instructors, who’ll make sure you get the most out of your experience.

Participant guidelines

Minimum age: 12

To comply with training guidelines, parents or guardians of under 18s must remain on-site for the duration of the training in case of emergency

Availability

Vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of issue

The experience is available Friday to Sunday throughout the year. Exclusions may apply.

A typical day runs 09.30 to 14.30 (arrival 09.00) or 10.30 to 15.30 (arrival 09.30 for complete beginners, 10.00 for everyone else)

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 5 hours 30 minutes for the full experience.

What should I wear?

Riding pants, jersey, gloves, helmet and boots are all provided but please bring waterproofs if required.

What about the weather?

This is an outdoor experience so will go ahead rain or shine. Only in adverse weather conditions will the experience be rescheduled.

Additional information

Lockers are available to use free of charge.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

There is an optional damage waiver of £25 which can be obtained on the day.

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
