Afterwards, you can head over some refreshment with a deliciously tipsy afternoon tea at Revolution Bar. Sandwiches, scones and sweet treats are yours to enjoy, along with a cocktail of your choice.

What happens on the day?

Upon arrival at one of two departure points, you’ll exchange your voucher and be welcomed aboard your shared punt by your chauffeur and guide. You’ll then set out on your 45 minute shared punting tour. Your consummate guide will navigate the famous college backs, all the while providing insights into the sights and stories of the city.

On arrival at the Revolution Bar, you’ll receive a warm welcome by the staff, who’ll show you to your pre-booked table. Take your seats in the vibrant surroundings and tuck into a delicious array of sweet and savoury delights, alongside a cocktail of your choice.

Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue

Participant guidelines

Minimum age: 18

Please note Revolution Bars cannot cater for GF/Nut/ Dairy allergies, although they do offer a vegetarian option

Availability

Afternoon Tea - The experience is available 12.00 to 14.00 seven days a week. Exclusions may apply.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 2 hours for your afternoon tea

Chauffeured Cambridge Punting Tour - The experience is available seven days a week all year round, except Christmas Day, conditions permitting. Opening hours are 09.00 to dusk and shared College Backs tours depart every 15 to 30 minutes, with the last tour departing approximately 60 minutes before the day's closing time.

Please allow 45 minutes for the tour.

The punt tours operate on a walk-up basis and are not pre-booked in advance. You must activate your voucher and bring it with you to your chosen punting location.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

Please Note: If you’re purchasing a NEW Experience you will be entitled to the validity stated within this description. If/when you are within 3 months of the voucher expiry date and there are still restrictions in place, Virgin Experience Days are offering free extensions to allow the customer to use at a later date. They are reviewing this regularly in line with Government advice and updates.
