Battle Archery Experience

Try an art that’s centuries old brought forth to the modern era with this Battle Archery Experience for One Adult.

A cross between archery and paintballing, battle archery features bows, foam-tipped arrows and a series of action-packed battle scenarios to prove you’re top dog. There’s no limit to the number of arrows you can use beyond what you can carry or pick up off the ground, so you can either fire wildly and scramble for ammunition or take your time, picking your target and only popping up to take the shot when the time is right. Play how you want to play, but remember the rest of the team will be counting on you!

Your games and missions will take place at the gamezone in the Avon Valley Wildlife & Adventure Park, which has plenty of other attractions if you want to add even more to your day out in Somerset.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at the Avon Valley Wildlife & Adventure Park you’ll make your way to the Battle Archery HQ before being issued your mask and goggles and taking part in a short safety briefing.

The whole group on the day will be split into teams, and you’ll face off against the opposition in a series of paintball-style matches across 2 hours of exciting Battle Archery.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: 18

• Spectators are welcome, however views may be restricted

• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

• Vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of issue

• Available Saturday and Sunday: 09.00 to 20.00. Date restrictions may apply.

• We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

• Please allow approximately 2 hours for the full experience.

What should I wear?

You are advised to wear comfortable and weather dependant clothing as the experience is outside.

What about the weather?

This experience is not usually weather dependant; however in the unlikely event that it is cancelled due to severe weather conditions, an alternative date will be offered to you.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
