In this gritty prison drama directed by STEVE BUSCEMI, EDWARD FURLONG (American History X, Terminator 2) plays Ron Decker, a handsome, athletic 25 year old and the product of a comfortable Beverly Hills upbringing. Nothing happens in San Quentin without Copen's sanction. He takes a liking to Ron and arranges for him to have an easy job assisting the prison education officer. But just when life inside is looking easier, Ron's increased confidence turns violent, leaving himself and Earl facing some tough choices if they are to survive.
