Black Friday Survival Guide
However you’re planning on spending Black Friday, be it from the comfort of your own home surfing the web for deals or braving the high street in the hope of those mega savings, we think we’ve got some pretty good tips to help you get more bang for your buck and take some of the stress out of the Black Friday rush.
Rest the Night Before
Loads of retailers go live with their deals from midnight on Black Friday. In order to make the most out of it and make sure you don’t miss out, get plenty of rest the night before so you’re feeling fresh and have your wits about you when those deals go live. Lots of places may wait until the early hours of the morning before going live with some of their bigger deals so make sure you set your alarms so you don’t sleep through them!
Stay Fuelled Up
There’s nothing worse than shopping fatigue! Make sure you stay loaded up on sweet treats and energy drinks so you really can shop till you drop. We recommend copious coffees, sweets, biscuits, cakes and anything that will give you that all important pick me up to get you through.
Seen a deal you can’t resist? It’s always worth having a snoop around to see if you can find a better price. Big affiliate websites will always have some huge savings going on and you never know what great deals you could find.
Thinking of using the day to get some Christmas presents ahead of the rush? Make a list of all the people you’re buying for this year and anything you think you’ll be able to get a great deal on for Black Friday. Proper planning going into the big day will mean you’re laser-focused to all the essential items you need before you go checking out some other great offers (pssssttt we’ve got loads of them!).
While it can seem like a stressful experience, proper planning and preparedness will mean you’re ready to go on Black Friday. Have fun with the day and think about all those incredible savings you’ll make!
Spare A Thought for Those Working Black Friday
Whether it’s online or instore, there will be a lot of people working very hard behind the scenes to make sure Black Friday is a huge success. While you’re getting all those last minute deals, spare a thought for all those that have made this possible (looking at you Team IWOOT!).
