This amazing Wand Remote Control can control your TV and most other electronic things that work via a remote; making you appear to be able to perform some pretty incredible magic tricks. Ever since Harry Potter landed we secretly yearned to be part of the magical world of Witchcraft and Wizardry and now with this wand we're a step nearer, almost.
Cast spells to control the TV: flick from channel to channel, control the volume and much more. All you have to do is train your wand into learning these commands, so you will soon be turning your telly box on and off with a flick of the wand, no boring remote needed. After you've learnt the basics (it takes a few practice sweeps to get the hang of it), you'll be able to program your wand to control the volume, channel, brightness or whatever your usual remote can do.
A turning motion will control the volume, a sweep up or down will move the channel forward or back a step and even double-tapping on the side will perform whatever you assign it. In all there are 13 different motions to learn and each one can be given a separate task to complete. To do this put your wand into 'learning mode' by giving it a quick tap, perform the move you want and then press the corresponding key on your remote. The wand remembers it and performs it the next time you do the same move.
It's difficult to emphasise how much fun this is and how cool the effect is when you're merrily commanding all and sundry around you. The Stereo, the TV, the computer, the lights, anything that needs flicking on or off in the room can be controlled by a wave of your wand. Let the sorcery commence!

The wand remote is a very good idea, Its a great laugh to play around with and can be an ideal present for anyone. I got this wand and I love playing around with it, it turns the tv over when the other half isnt watching and he hasnt got a clue...lol he thinks the tv has issues... great fun for a joke or prank on others who dont know about this wand...I would recommend to everyone.

Was given this as a birthday gift, can't say I was that impressed with it. It does work but when I realised how much it cost it's definitely not worth £50. Looks cool but it's probably one of those things that will sit around not being used.. Good idea for kids who love Harry Potter though.

OMG This is amazing
I have now bought two, and one for a friend. It is just so cool and amazing. It takes an hour to work it out and practise, then amaze friends and (in my case) class of children when you turn things on and off, change the volume, freeze frame and fast forward / rewind DVDs CDs and anything else that is controlled by a remote. I have an interactive whiteboard in my classroom and have children begging to give it a try!!! You MUST get one of these... no really, you MUST!

This Wand is seriously Magic! Impress your friends by doing Magic tricks all over your house (and work). So far, have programmed my TV, Sky, Ipod Sound Dock and Lights to all come on with a click, a flick or a woosh of the wand. Seriously - it is worth investing in remote control lights just to see the look on your friends faces! Recommend making up elaborate words that your friends think are 'spells' just to add to the drama. I now have a new name - Magic Mel. Think it suits me. Just now, seeing if I can get it to bake, clean and tidy up! Wish me luck!

Ordered the magic wand on friday, got delivered on monday. (To Belgium) Installation is very easy. Was happy to discover it can replace multiple remote controls. Learning the gestures is all about subtlety.

Ah-mazing!
I LOVE it! It came much quicker than I was expecting, especially since I'm in the US, and it looks great. It doesn't look fake or clunky; it looks like a real wand. I was worried (after reading previous reviews) that it would be hard to program, but it was really easy. (Maybe because I was expecting it to be difficult). I have to be more careful with this remote (I can't just throw it on the couch, because that would do something like change the channel) but it is definitely worth the trade off. :)

I bought the remote control wand for my boyfriend for christmas even though we agreed to not buy each other christmas presents because we were going to put our money together after christmas to but a nice big flat screen TV. So when I saw this on IWOOT I couldnt resist! Thought it would be the perfect accompaniament! It arrived really fast which was great as we were going to Holland to spend christmas with the inlaws. But when it arrived we ended up spending the whole evening teaching it and playing with it instead of packing! It is fantastic! Works really well and looks amazing to be casting spells at the TV!

I received this as a Christmas present and I absolutely love it. Though it takes a bit at first to get used to the controls, the remote functions quite well and it's fantastic to show people, especially if you don't tell them what it is beforehand! It makes controlling my television SO much more fun. Definitely recommended - it's every bit as cool as it looks, and the fact that the packaging and instructions are made as if it's a real wand makes the whole thing that much more fun.
