Flame Hand Warmers

Warm up nicely but poor at resetting.

I was surprised at how much the Flame Hand Warmers warm up. I put them in my sleeves which keeps them going for ages. Unfortunately, the downside is resetting them. You have to put them in boiling water until the crystals all melt. I've managed it a couple of times so far but given up on them now after about 5 attempts. Unless you manage to melt every little crystal (meaning more boiling) it will just recrystallise and become useless. I put mine in a bowl of boiling water and then put in the microwave for a couple of minutes at full power. It worked a couple of times and reset nicely but it's failed the last 3 times. I don't have time to stir them in a pan of boiling water as instructed.

I was searching for a very small gift for my son to take to Canada in his luggage, and I found these. The Flame Hand Warmers are perfect! They'll save his fingers from dropping off, and no extra luggage charges.

Decent if you get them working

The Flame Hand Warmers are great and warm up well. The only problem is getting them going. The clickers were frustrating for me because they didn't work on first clicks, I sat there for 30 minutes trying to set it off. There are other similar products with better buttons to set them off, but this is alright once you get the hang of it.

The Flame Hand Warmers are very, very handy! They work within a minute, and are great for camping, fishing or anywhere you might need to have warm and fully functioning hands. These little beauties are fantastic. I wish I'd bought a few more pairs, something I'm about to remedy right now! You won't be disappointed. If they could make them so they had heat reactive colour changing designs on them, they would would be even better.

I received these Flame Hand Warmers as a Christmas gift, and recommend them to everyone. I kept them in the car and after a winter walk in the woods we had warm hands again in a click. Just boil them in water and let them cool down before you use them again. My friend told me she has some similar which she bought 7 years ago and are still in use.

Bought these Flame Hand Warmers for my Grandparents as a "wireless" way to warm up, whether in or out. Most impressive, and warmed up immediately and impressively. Also, much larger than initially expected and could be used for a variety of things! Small bed warmer? You could even use it as a heat pack for achey muscles! A novel but useful gift for young and old.
