Description
The Keyring Alcohol Breath Tester is a 3 step test that's a must have item when you're out on the town.
Straightforward to use, simply hold down the power button until the LED turns green and blow across the top of the grill.
If the light remains green, you're under 0.05% BAC*, and should be in the clear. If the LED turns yellow, then you're on the borderline of being over the limit and should think about using an alternative way to get home. A red light is when you really need to find a bus/taxi/sober friend, as you have exceeded the 0.08% BAC.
Although this device should only be treated as a guideline, it will help you prevent making any more bad decisions as to whether you are really fit to get behind the wheel. - L.M.

Precautions:
- Always keep the power button depressed while taking the test
- It's recommended that you wait 20 minutes after drinking before taking the test. It takes this long for alcohol to be absorbed into the blood and for any residual alcohol in the mouth to be dissipated
- Do not eat or smoke 20 mins prior to testing
- For accurate results wait 3 minutes in between tests
- Do not use chemicals to clean the tester
- Do not blow liquid into the breath pipe.
- Do not place tester in a closed environment with contaminated air

This Keyring Alcohol Breath Tester is a very good item although it does seem to just give random readings. As a novelty it's a good laugh with the boys down the pub.

I got the Keyring Alcohol Breath Tester for my dad for Father's Day and it works a treat! No more being worried about not being able to drive the next day. All you need to do is blow into the Breath Tester and it will tell you! Don't think my mother is too pleased with it as he is testing her nonstop!

This is an awkward one...
I bought this, as a bit of a gimmiky thing (having just turned 18, and living in the UK, I'm now able to drink, but don't want to lose my license!) I went out a couple of weeks after buying this device, and decided to test it, and it was certainly able to tell that I'd had a few, and showed up with the "in the red". In short - If you'd like the novelty of a small keyring-sized, breathalyser, it would be good for a cheap laugh with your mates, but don't rely completely on its results, as you must remember, if you feel over the limit, you probably are!

I bought this little gadget as I do enjoy hitting the town. When I took it out with me all my friends wanted to test themselves and we all had a really good laugh with it. A great thing to buy.
Great for the morning after
Great for the morning after, especially when you had a heavy night drinking the night before.
Now this is a heck of a thing. I originally looked at this as part of a New Year party prop I needed to make, but I got two "just in case" and now the second is a permanent fixture on my keyring. It's nice and simple to use: just hold the button, wait for it to be ready, breathe and wait. It does take a few seconds to get ready (it goes green light, yellow and red light, green light - once the green comes on again, you're good to go). I can't speak for its accuracy, having not tested it, but it can certainly tell the difference between "totally sober" and "has had a few", and it takes about a second to light up red if you stick it over a glass of spirits. Nice little widget.

i bought this for both my sisters for a laugh as they both love to party. it is funny and they have fun testing themselves as well as their friends. lots of enjoyment had by all.

i brought this item expecting important results. but it doesnt work. not worth the money at all. its better to buy a more expensive one and save your licence

Breath of fresh air
One never knows when one is over the limit the day after a night out - espiecally over Christmas when one tends to over indulge... This takes the worry out of the situation.. Although not 100 per cent accurate you can have a good idea if you are close to the limit - I great excuse to whoever's house you end up with soe another....erm coffee...

Bit temperamental
Unfortunately this item is a bit temperamental and only seems to work when it wants to rather than when you want it to!

put batteries in and the light came on and all and done as it says in instrutions and its completly fautly i hadn't had one sip of a alcoholic drink for about 3 wees and itsaid i that i had ! was really loing forward to this :( what a shame...
pub fun
This was a novelty present for one of my lad mates. It's great fun to take down the pub and test out. It shows the lightweights that are tipsy and haven't even drank enough to make the breathaliser go red! And... best of all... it doesn't break the bank!
