Zoo Keeping for a Day

Perfect for animal lovers, this zoo keeper for the day experience is an incredible chance to get close to big cats, elephants, penguins, giraffes and primates (depending on venue) and gain an insight into how these special animals are cared for. In a group with four others, get dressed in official zoo keeper attire and follow an experienced zoo keeper around the various enclosures in either ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. The host keeper will give a health and safety briefing, before getting started on tasks such as mucking out the enclosures, preparing food, devising enrichment activities and feeding and meeting the animals. The day includes lunch and morning and afternoon refreshments, as well as lots of great photograph opportunities.
