You, your car, your music and the open road, there's nothing better to clear your head! The iTrips are the ideal companions for your road trips, or even short journeys for that matter. The iTrip Dock plugs straight into your iPod, and the iTrip Auto Universal into any portable music devices with a headphone jack - MP3 players, CD Players, Mini Disc (do they still exist?) etc. Using its neat internal radio transmitter, it beams your tunes straight to your car stereo so you can listen to all your playlists on the road.
All you need to do to get your iTrip tripping is find a silent FM radio frequency on your car radio, and use the side switches on your iTrip to tune it to the same frequency. Lock it on that frequency and log it as a pre-set fav radio station on your car stereo and you're done. Now whenever you're tuned in you'll hear your MP3s!
If you have a non iPod MP3 player (such as the fabulous new Zune) but still want to play your songs in the car, then the iTrip Auto Universal is for you. You can plug it into any portable music player that has a 3.5mm (which is the standard) headphone port, and beam your tracks straight to your car stereo. We've waited a long time for the Radio Communications Agency to make these brilliant little gizmos legal, and at last they've come to their senses, so now we can plug and play our massive playlists into our cars - excellent.

If you're using this or any other iTrip type of radio broadcaster for iPods (or any MP3 player) in London, you will struggle to find a clear radio signal. The airwaves in London are absolutely rammed with every Tom Dick and Harriet broadcasting their own local radio of sorts. Outside of the capital where the air is clear they work superbly, but in town the fight for airspace will make it hard for you to get a consistently clear signal.

Oh now you start selling them !!! I have one and use it all the time.It saves having to keep all my cd's in the car and is amazingly clear even in the centre of Sheffield. However i paid almost £15 more than you're selling it for ! Grrrrr. (Sorry it took so long, they only became legal a month or two ago. Ed)

This is amazing! I got mine this morning! I soon realized that it it could not only be used in the car but I could use it in the house too! no more rubbish iPod speakers for me- from now on I will just use this to transmit my favourite songs to my stereo system! fab!

Some gadgets fail to live up to their billing; NOT this one. It works really well and is dead easy to set up. I simply plugged it in, set my radio frequency to the default and off I went with my fave tunes blasting from my car stereo. Highly recommended.

This gadget is fantastic, I have one myself. What I like best about it is you use it to listen to your ipod through the radio. So you don't have to buy ipod speakers! (which by the way cost way more that this). It is also great for tuning into your car stereo, as that's even more cost saved, you don't have to pay for an ipod adaptor for your car! The sound quality is fantastic, I was so amazed, I thought it would be really crackly coming through a radio, but it isn't! So, if you have an ipod you really should buy one of these, and there's no one better than IWOOT to buy it from. Trust me their the best online shop I have ever bought from (and I've bought from alot). So to sum it all up, buy this for great quality sound at a fantastic price, from an excellent website! I would recommend both the itrip and iwoot to anyone.
