Ballz Cubed

Balls. Balls, balls, balls. Balls to the power of three, even. How about Ballz Cubed? It may not be immediately apparent from the title, but Ballz Cubed is possibly the most addictive magnetic puzzle we've ever had the pleasure (or misfortune, depending on how you look at it) to get our mitts on. Put simply, it's a stack of 216 magnetic balls fashioned into a cube that you can pull to pieces and create infinite patterns with.

Honestly, it is pretty much infinite. Make them into a long string, fold them into a weird approximation of your Auntie Nora's face, or try and make them back into a cube again - all are possible (and infuriatingly difficult to complete). With one of these on your desk, the chances of getting any work done will dramatically reduce, and any moments you do spend working will be rendered irrelevant because you "just HAVE to make it into a cube before lunchtime…". Don't say we didn't warn you.

They're available in three different styles (though each one is equally likely to reduce you to a quivering puddle of addicted uselessness). There's gold, titanium or a tantalising mix of four different metallic colours. Whichever version of Balls3 you opt for, make sure you've unplugged the phone, finished your work and taken the week off. You're going to need it.
