Arguably better than the original version... here's why:
Being a big fan of IWOOT generally, it's addictive to browse for unusual items and this Scrabble version is great! It is very well made, normal size and so much easier to use than the original version. The board is metal, as are the tile handheld racks. With the tiles being magnetic, they make gameplay a lot easier as the tiles don't slip around and move. I remember playing the original version which of course is a classic, but getting annoyed with the tiles moving around on the board so easily if any were nudged or knocked. That problem does not exist with the Scrabble Memo Board. Scoring is convenient too as you write the scores directly next to the board on the convenient enlarged board and the set comes with a dry-wipe black pen with a magnetic lid on it so that is secure too when not in use. They've thought about this product during the design phase of it. The whole thing hangs on the wall and the set comes with detachable mini hooks that fasten on to the bottom rim of the board so that when it's hung, you can store/display everyones racks, tiles and tile bag for anytime you wish to return to the game. Also, it has handy weekday memo spaces for notes which I thought was a nice touch. This is a brilliant product and I can imagine that the original version may get replaced over time with a remake similar to this. Nice work! Great game for all the family to play at once.
