The Sun, Moon and Twilight Jars are ingenious and rather charming lighting concepts from designer Tobias Wong. Just as jam jars store jam, the Sun Jar stores sunshine. The Moon Jar also stores sun, which might be a little confusing, but it's because it gives off a soft blue light at night rather than a warm glow. To confuse matters even more we've finally got our hands on the beautifully dusky Twilight Jar, which also stores sunlight. Simply sit the jars on your windowsill during the day, then when it gets dark they automatically turn themselves on and glow with the day's sun. The jars contain a solar charging panel and low voltage bulb along with an auto light-sensitive on/off switch. Don't let the sun go down on your day, let the moon come up at night, and bask in the beautiful twilight whether it's cloudy or not.

- The Sun Jar glows Yellow
- Pop the jar on the windowsill in the light and it will automatically glow by dark.
- A low voltage bulb powered by the sun and the solar charging panel allows the jar to work.
- An auto light-sensitive on/off switch.
- Suitable for ages 5 years+.
- Requires sunshine and a solar cell battery (included).
- Please note: Winter months aren't the most conducive to a healthy charge - for improved results, leave your Jar switched off (switch up) whilst charging. This conserves battery life and will leave it to illuminate when you need it to. If the weather has been particularly bad, as a last resort you can also charge the batteries in a normal battery charger.

Not as good as the blue one
I bought the Sun Jar - Yellow because I wanted to test it myself before giving them as a gift. I also wanted a light for the nights that was less bright than the common bedside table lamps. This one is more orange than yellow, and it seems not as shiny as the blue one. I wouldn't recommend it for using as a bedside table lamp, but it is very nice as a piece of decoration inside and outside the home.
The cat loves it, so do I!
The Sun Jar - Yellow is a fantastic item. I love how it glows warmly in the corner of my room in the evenings when it is darker! It fascinates my cat as well, which is a bonus! I would recommend this to anyone thinking of buying one for themselves or even as a gift, they would make a great gift!
A brilliant comforting lamp, easy to use and great for camping!
This Sun Jar lamp has become an essential part of our camping kit! It has a lovely glow that the kids adore, and is bright enough to help you see by the fire at night whilst not being so glaring that it makes everyone go temporarily blind, like some lights! It is so easy to use, with no batteries to change, just put it in the light during the day! Everyone at the camp we attended wanted one. They are beautiful, comforting and ecologically friendly, what more could you want!?

Oh how I love my very own jar of sun! It sits on my windowsill and cheers me up so much.Especially on a rainy day.I am now ordering for my two friends and one for on my window sill at work.They are such a simple but cheery idea particularly as they are reduced in price at the moment. Not keen on the fairy jars you can tell that there are little L.E.D lights inside and not sure i would buy the pink sun or the blue moon jar. Dont expect to use it as a light though its not as bright as it looks in the picture more of a gentle but dull glow. Really just a fun novelty but lovely anyway
A brilliant and unique gift
My friend has no idea what to get me for my birthday so what does he find? A jar of sunshine! The solar battery charges even on a cloudy day and the sunjar creates a soft yellow light during the night. Thanks IWOOT!

when i was a child i have always wished to collect sunshine like a warm cuddle. it needs anything else but the sun! and the jar stores sunshine! and longer i sit the jar on my windowsill during the day, then when it gets dark it gives a warmer glow! and guess it? i bought it for my partner in love!

I got this for my birthday and its absolutely fantastic! I can use it for reading in my room at night, and the design is so original. I used it at my birthday sleepover, and it had been charging through the day, and lasted through the night. Lots of my friends all now want one as it is eco friendly. Thank you IWOOT, as it was really something i needed! :)

the twilight jar was good, but the sun jar is so worth getting, i recomend it to everyone, i got one for my birthday and it is just so relaxing, and with no candles or flames theres no worry, because i always feel danger with candles so its not relaxing, but the sun jar just gives you that extra bit
