BeoPlay A3 is an iPad speaker frame that offers a brilliant sound experience. The stylish design is sculpted to blend perfectly with the iPad's minimal aesthetic, and the flexible shape adds to the user experience. Portable and easy to move, the A3 dock can be used anytime, anywhere.
Enhance the iPad's sound performance, so you can really hear your music, films or TV series. BeoPlay A3 features Adaptive Stereo Orientation that changes the sound stage to suit the position of your iPad, whether it's in vertical or horizontal orientation, stood up or lying down. Three tweeters and bass are positioned in the corners to give an almost field sound experience for solo or group use.
Fit your iPad in the correct bumper, slot the iPad in BeoPlay A3 and you're ready to start. With no complex setup required, you only need to know how to use your iPad and you're good to go. The buttons on your iPad for standby, volume adjustment and battery indication are placed on the thin edge, ready to be used regardless of how the BeoPlay is placed.
Designed by Steffen Schmelling, the BeoPlay A3 is unlike traditional docking devices as it surrounds the iPad instead of just docking it. The sculptured shape adds to the versatility of the iPad. Every surface of the A3 is durable and comfortable to hold, plus it's finished with a decorative aluminium profile.
The Beoplay A3 is the perfect place to dock your iPad as it's so easy to move. Its rechargeable battery pack offers up to 7 hours of playback with normal use. Connect it to the mains and the power supply will charge both the iPad and BeoPlay A3. The Beoplay A3 is also supplied with UK, US, Europe and Australia plug adaptors.

Turns your old iPad into a portable sound system
I wouldn't have bought something like this at it's original price but now that it's come down it's a great way of revitalising an old iPad. The sound on those iPad 3s is so bad and it was always a pain plugging in speakers with cables and having 2 plugs to deal with.This dock is like having a dedicated portable music system with great sound and if you have Spotify you can play pretty much any song you can think of. It's also good for watching films or TV on portably. It's revitalised my old iPad from something lying unused in a drawer to something I use every day.
Party sounds
I bought this Bang and Olufsen ipad dock and speaker for my wife. It is a really sleek beautiful piece of quality engineering which gives out top qulity sound. It has a rchargeable batteries , which is ideal for taking it out on picnics or even in the garden. The only niggle I have is that it does not have a remote control.
Sound investment
The sound dock is an excellent addition to our music enjoyment so much so that I'm now considering a new sound system, the quality of sound this little thing produces is outstanding and is now our only source of music, we've loaded all the radio stations and 50% of our CD's onto the Ipad to be able to fully enjoy the rich sound the Beoplay produces. Really Pleased. Steve
BEOPLAY A3
This product is Amazing. Love it. The sound quality is excellent as would be expected from a B&O product. It Paired with my Ipad effortlessly. Is easily transportable from room to room without wires. And is the perfect home for my Ipad 2 which sits / docks beautifully and seamlessly. My Only disappointment I should have ordered the Black instead of White :-( As for the service from IWOOT I would definitely order from them again. I ordered my product on 17th December, it was Despatched on the 18th and I received it on the 20th December that is the quickest I have ever received a product ordered on line and just in time for Christmas. A great product and a great service - Thank you :-)
Ipad dock
This is a nice sleek dock the ipad 2 fits into perfectly with great sound. Can use it anywhere and is the best design of docking stations that I have researched. It comes at a fabulous price too.
Bro play A3
Product looked very nice. Unfortunately it is only good for the early I-pad up to 3 and as mine is the 4 it was useless. This fact was not made clear in the product description so beware.
