The 45L Semi-Round Brushed Steel Sensor Bin from simplehuman features a motion  sensor where infrared fields sense the area in front and above the bin so that the lid opens automatically with a wave of a hand, ideal for touch-free, hygienic lid opening. The innovative sensor area expands when the lid is open so it will not close until you are finished. The bin is 50% quieter than similar bins at only 52dB despite its planetary gear system and 8.4kgf.cm torque for consistently smooth lid operation.

The Sensor bin features simplehuman’s liner pocket design: an internal pocket that holds and dispenses bin liners individually from within the bin cavity, for a quick and efficient bag change. Held securely in place by a stainless steel rim, the liner is hidden from view and as there is no inner bucket, there is more space for rubbish. The outer lid lifts up fully for easy emptying of the liner without the need to struggle with an inner bucket. Crafted from finger-print proof stainless steel, the semi-round bin is a compact shape that will suit any kitchen décor.
